This was the first time that I photographed a wedding at the Pyramid Club in Philadelphia - one of the tallest buildings in Center City. So I sort of knew what to expect however after photographing this wedding all day this had to be one of the best, and touching weddings I have ever been a part of. This was the marriage of Dennis and Joe, a same-sex couple who were extremely happy with each other, and happy that they can finally, legally be married. This day was very hot in Philadelphia with the heat index of 105, but they did not care as we went and did other pictures around the city and also behind the Barnes Foundation Museum, just enjoying each other’s company, and basking in the sunlight. This wedding was very well planned out, and everything ran real smooth from beginning to end with lots of time in between. When the reception started this was a party all never forget, as both their families joined in the celebration and the union of this happy couple. Within the Pyramid Club I noticed the circular staircase, and Dennis and Joe were more than happy to oblige to pose for this picture; and as you can see the composition and impact our incredible.
