philadelphia winter wedding photo

Had If there is one season that I really love to photograph in , it would definitely be the winter! Many of my customers know that I love to pray for snow even if it is just a little, to add to the atmosphere of the photographs in the overall day itself. Also my brides and to make sure that they have fur coats, wraps or something for warmth to access their beautiful gown for winter weddings. Allie’s dress, her wedding day, and her bridal hood were definitely what I was talking about. The night before her wedding a fresh light snowfall happened during the evening. Staying overnight in the city the night before, I was able to formulate many ideas for the pre-wedding shoot the after the reveal. Allie and Mike had a reveal planned and doing all the pictures beforehand; then it was off to the ceremony, then more pictures after - still making it to their whole entire cocktail hour and their reception at the Cescaphe Ballroom. Together we planned their wedding day out so they had plenty of time for their Philadelphia winter wedding photos, and the bright dusting of snow did not disappoint. This bridal portrait of Allie, speaks volumes as the image has high impact, in the viewer is directed right to her eyes. The composition of her fur hood, and her face, make this almost a perfect bridal portrait. Photographed the natural light, leads to the overall feel of the image itself. Another thing that makes this image stand out above others is the fact that it was done right at the right time of day so the light was absolutely perfect. It is a bridal portrait like this that causes a lot of emotional impact for the brides their families and their friends instead of letting images that look like everybody else’s.
