Night time Winter Wedding PhotoBelieve it or not I love when I get commissioned for winter weddings and this was no different. It was a Friday night in downtown Philadelphia and we were just doing the formal pictures on the altar, and one of the bridesmaids came up and said it started to snow - and the bride and I had the biggest smile on our faces! So we had Friday traffic to deal with, plus the snow and what was normally a 20 minute ride took almost an hour and a half however I did not care and neither did the couple. It gave me the opportunity to scope this area out in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum and plan one of the most dramatic images I ever captured. The snow made such an incredible background with the street and car lights in the background, and just a simple back light wedding technique made the bride and groom jump out from the snow. This was an image and moment that I will never forget. Keywords: Gerard Tomko Photography (1548), Philadelphia Wedding Photographer (63).
