Penns Landing Engagment Photo

Jenna and Rich’s Engagement included a couple different locations including USS New Jersey.  After a brief rainstorm,  I decide to take the couple along the Delaware River to do some Penns  engagement photos.  Known as my GTKY Session ( getting to know you) it is a chance  for couples to work with me and I get to work with them so on the wedding they were a lot more comfortable with each other -  however there is nothing cheesy about these sessions.  Most couples, at first  do not like to do engagement sessions because of the cheesy connotation that comes with them from other photographers   The beach in Ocean City is one of my favorite locations with my couples.   One of the greatest places to take pictures along Penn’s Landing is the Spruce St., Park during the summer.  With the addition of multicolored lights along the dock and in the park this may turn incredible setting for pictures!   Even though the rain had stopped there was a chance of light showers throughout the night so we wanted to make sure we have the pictures done before it started raining again.  As  nightfall came closer,  I wanted to get some shots with the multi- colored sticks there were hanging from the trees.   We started taking the pictures and all of a sudden it started to rain again but not heavy.   With  the help of my assistant manning a second light,  I was able to get an incredible picture of Jenna and Rich,  in the rain,  freezing the raindrops within the camera and with the second light -   and the couple never got wet!    It is this type of image  that my couples expect for me -  never ordinary,  images with impact,  that make my images so unique!
